Call for Artists

Earlier this year I launched a small photography project, selling framed prints of my travels going back several years. I shared the work with my friends and connections on Instagram, Twitter, and after thinking about it for a day or two, on LinkedIn as well.

The response I got was incredible. Not only did several of my professional connections comment on and purchase some of my work, they also messaged me personally to share with me that they too were working on something creative, artistic, or otherwise to feed their passions.

This made me think about how much creative work, and art of all types, was being made by people like me…full-time corporate-types or people with other “day jobs”… most of it behind the scenes and that never gets the attention it deserves.

Curating great and inspiring work is very satisfying to me and I thought creating a space to help people talk about and share their work would be a fun project.
